By accessing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are subject to change without notice.

Ordering & Payment

All products are handcrafted to order unless listed as in-stock. Full payment is required at the time of purchase. For custom pieces, payment terms will be outlined in your estimate or invoice.

Shipping

Shipping is calculated based on destination, item size, and delivery method. For furniture, white glove delivery may be arranged and quoted separately. We ship within the U.S. only. Once an item has shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays or damage in transit.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the custom and handcrafted nature of our work, all sales are final.

- Furniture & Custom Items: Non-returnable and non-refundable.

- Cutting & Serving Boards: Final sale unless damaged in transit. Any claims must be submitted within 3 days of delivery with photos.

- Home Aromas (e.g., incense): Non-returnable.

Warranty

Spatial Relations LLC warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as they are owned by the original purchaser, under normal residential use. At our discretion, we may choose to repair or replace any warranted product or component.

This warranty excludes:

- Modifications, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation or storage

- Environmental damage (exposure to moisture, extreme temperature or humidity, or acts of God)

- Natural aging and variations in wood (e.g., color shifts, hairline joint cracks, or grain movement)

- Cosmetic wear from regular use

- Incidental or consequential damages, including labor for removal or reinstallation.

- Decorative hardware (knobs and pulls), and some specialty hardware

Natural wood is inherently variable. Variations in grain, tone, and texture are expected. Over time, wood may expand, contract, darken, or lighten with age, light exposure, and humidity. These are not considered defects. Minor warping (up to 1/8" per linear foot) is within acceptable industry standards.

Maintaining a climate-controlled environment (ideal: 40–50% relative humidity, 68–72°F) helps mitigate seasonal wood movement. Improper indoor humidity—particularly under 30%—can cause shrinkage, cracking, or joint separation and voids warranty coverage.

If a component is discontinued, we reserve the right to replace it with the most similar available alternative, which may not match the existing finish exactly.

Product Care

Each furniture piece ships with specific care instructions.

Wood Furniture (General)

- Avoid direct sunlight and exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity.

- Use coasters, placemats, and trivets to prevent surface damage.- Dust with a soft cloth; avoid commercial polishes unless specified.

- Maintain stable indoor humidity to prevent warping or cracking.

Cutting & Serving Boards

- Hand wash only. Do not soak or place in dishwasher.

- Dry thoroughly after use.

- Reapply food-safe beeswax or mineral oil regularly—especially if the board looks dry or dull (every 2–4 weeks depending on use).

- Avoid prolonged contact with moisture, heat, or acidic ingredients.

- To disinfect, use a solution of white vinegar and water or wipe with lemon and salt.

- Store upright or flat in a dry area with good airflow.

With proper care, our boards will serve beautifully for years.
