Founded in 2019 by designer Vincent Martinelli, Spatial Relations is the culmination of a lifelong project to create harmonious conversation between objects in space. Simultaneously functional and visionary, Vincent’s design language developed over thirty years of multi-disciplinary creative work: his ability to analyze a room and envision a piece’s ideal form and location was honed over years designing, building, rigging, and lighting in the theatre; his expert color palette and deep appreciation of a material’s richness and texture is informed by his years spent creating costumes for artists like David Bowie; his experience as art director, visual merchandiser, and product developer at fine jewelry and lifestyle store Love Adorned imbued him with an investment in quality and a dedication to thoughtful design. This expansive creative skillset informs each Spatial Relations project from its rough sketch to its final coat of finish.
